Mount Pleasant youth volleyball team wins championship

The Mount Pleasant 17 Gold volleyball team (MVP) took first place in The Palmetto Region Championships, March 24. The event is held every year in Charlotte where teams from all over the state of South Carolina compete in the three-day event. Many of the players will continue their postseason attending the 40th AAU Girls Junior Volleyball Championships in Orlando, Fla. this summer.
