Mount Pleasant Recreation Piranhas champions of Special Olympics swim meet

Nearly 20 members of the Mount Pleasant Recreation Piranhas (Unified Swim Team) competed in the state Special Olympics in Fort Jackson, this past Saturday. The girls relay team won the gold medal again this year and the boys placed second. Numerous individual bronze, silver and gold medals were awarded. Fort Jackson soldiers provided timing judges and other support at the Aquatic Center.
