The “British Invasion” took over Wando High School on May 7. The Wando Chorus Spring Concert featured chorale music by British composers, poets and rock groups (Queen, Beatles, etc). As a side note the concert began with beautiful a capella music that choir members will perform this summer abroad. Forty-four students are traveling to perform and tour Italy. They will perform in Venice, Florence and at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
