  • Tuesday, May 21, 2013

The first official weekend of summer is set to kick-off with a bang at Party at the Point. What better way to begin the long holiday weekend than with crowd favorite, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band?

Party at the Point has been Charleston’s Premier Happy Hour Concert Series for the past 12 years.

The weekly event takes place every Friday afternoon from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. at the beautiful Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina on Patriots Point and features drink specials including $2 draft beer while it lasts.

Tickets are available at the gate for $7. There is plenty of free parking on the street or valet parking for $5.

After the event, the live music will continue at the Official After Party at the Wild Wing Café on Coleman Boulevard.

Party at the Point is presented by Ear for Music, Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina and The Bridge 105.5.

Sponsors for Party at the Point include: The Modern Connection, 98 Rock, Wild Wing Café, Naked Turtle Rum, Rick Hendrick BMW, Rex Goliath Wines, Carolina Hormone and Health Center, and Wow! Internet, Cable and Phone.

Coming up Friday, May 31 is Occasional Milkshake with Southwood.
