Contractors continue to work around the clock to pump sand onto the beach at Folly Beach, and since May 5, approximately 175,000 cubic yards of sand have been put in to place. The contractors constructing the terminal groin are currently scheduled to begin driving steel sheet piles for the groin on May 15.
