Dog lovers, after a long day at work, pick up your pooch and join the fun at events held this summer for dog owners. Charleston County Parks’ Pups, Yups and Food Trucks continues on select evenings at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park, starting May 30. The Yappy Hour series returns to James Island County Park, June 6.
Mingle with friends old and new while your dog visits with favorite pals. Both events will be on select Thursdays, so come at 4 p.m.
Join other area dog owners for live music, food trucks, and beverages in the meadow at this Mount Pleasant park.
The popular Yappy Hour series at James Island County Park continues June 6. Held right in the off-leash dog park, dog owners can enjoy live music on stage and beverages for sale, while their dogs enjoy an evening in the park.
Both events are free with general park admission ($1 per person or free with Charleston County Parks’ Gold Pass). Beverages and food available for an additional fee. Outside alcohol and coolers prohibited.
