No trespass means no trespass

  • Saturday, June 8, 2013

A coffee store owner called police because a man the store had previously placed on trespass notice from the establishment came inside anyway. The manager had a copy of the notice on hand and showed it to the officer. It had been issued to the suspect in January. She told police that the suspect left when he saw her pick up the phone. The officer patrolled the area to no availa. He then stopped at a nearby store and employees there said his subject was in fact inside the business. Police approached him and he confirmed who he was. He was asked if he had just been in the coffee shop and he said he had. He aslo acknowledged knowing that he was on trespass notice from the shop. He said, “but I had to move my bowels so I went inside.”

That trip to the bathroom afforded him a trip to jail, according to a police reort.
