Not so sneaky

A loss prevention officer called police after witnessing a theft from the store. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the loss prevention officer. He told the officer that an unknown subject came in and allegedly stole $7,426.98 in electronics.

The security footage shows a man enter through the front doors of the store, grab a shopping cart and a bag. He went to electronics, and used some sort of tool to pry open the locked display case.

In the process, he broke the glass case. But he was able to make off with several items by placing them in his bag. He then left in a taxi.

The loss prevention officer then went on Craig’s List and found the items for sale. The officer investigating could not find the items listed when he checked, but obtained serial numbers should they reappear.
