Rosen Hagood is proud to announce that one of its attorneys, Andrew D. Gowdown, was selected to The National Trial Lawyers ‘Top 40 Under 40’ for the second year in a row.
Gowdown, who is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, practices in the areas of personal injury, traumatic brain injury, business and commercial litigation and securities litigation. He is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Charleston and a 2010 graduate of Leadership South Carolina; he now serves on the Leadership South Carolina Board of Trustees. Gowdown received his bachelors of science degree in business administration from Miami University in 1995 and earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1998.

Jimenez earns Professional Portfolio Manager title
Merrill Lynch announces that financial advisor Manny Jimenez of the Charleston office has been approved as a professional portfolio manager in the Merrill Lynch Personal Investment Advisory Program. Farrell joins law firm
John W. Farrell has joined Buist, Byars & Taylor as an associate attorney in the firm’s Mount Pleasant office. Farrell’s practice areas include litigation and transactional matters related to real estate and business. He has represented banks, property owners associations, small businesses and individuals in foreclosure actions, contract disputes, collection matters, construction litigation and corporate formation.
Farrell graduated magna cum laude from Limestone College. In 2006, he earned his juris doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Farrell was a member of the American Inns of Court and the International Law Society.
Prior to attending law school, Farrell was a small business owner and a lieutenant/Emergency Medical Technician with the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.
Farrell grew up in Spartanburg and lives in Mount Pleasant.
