  • Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Imani Children’s Choir’s purpose is promoting and bringing awareness to the plight of orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda through their craft in music and dance. Their performances have earned them recognition as one of the best children’s choir’s in the nation. The ministry cares for more than 3,000 children, providing housing, education, and skill training. While visiting the area for the Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Festival, they stopped on the Isle of Palms to perform and were treated to Isle of Palms T-shirts. PHOTOS PROVIDED
