Mount Pleasant road argument leads to stabbing

Thursday at about 2:45 p.m. the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to a stabbing that occurred in the area of Highway 41 and US 17, according to Maj. Stan Gragg. After an investigation, it was learned that an argument had occurred between Jack Ryan Keller and William Wade Andrews which led to a physical altercation while both party’s vehicles were stopped in traffic on Highway 41, Gragg said. Keller was assaulted and subsequently stabbed Wilson in the upper arm, according to the report. Wilson sought treatment for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital. Neither party wished to prosecute in this incident.
