Montez to speak to East Cooper Democrats

East Cooper Democrats will meet Wednesday June 26, at the Olive Branch AME Church Annex, 1734 Highway 17 North.

The agenda will include a look at local issues - affordable housing. Montez Martin is an expert in housing having spent 20 years as the CEO of Charleston County Housing and Redevelopment Authority. He is currently president of the Lowcountry Housing and Economic Development Foundation.

Vincent Sheheen’s new book “The Right Way, Getting the Palmetto State Back on Track” will be available at the meeting. ECD’s August meeting will be a discussion of the book. There is no charge for the book. A donation to the Sheehen Campaign for Governor would be appreciated. http://sheheenforsouthcarolina.com/

Social time and light dinner ($4/person) begins at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. Please RSVP to Carole Benson at carolebenson16@gmail.com or 843-216-3797 if attending and indicate if you want dinner.
