Be still my beating heart

People steal the strangest things and such was the case where a man allegedly stole a heart rate pedometer from a local store.

The loss prevention officer noticed a man acting in a suspicious manner and saw him attempt to remove something from a package. When the item was removed, the suspect put the empty package behind the full packages on the display case. The loss prevention officer followed the man until the suspect passed the last point of sale. He then confronted the suspect who fled the scene. He even backed out of the parking lot so no one could see his license tag.

But the license plate was caught on camera and police were able to locate a possible suspect for investigation.
