Cinebarre kicked off the summer with a Blue Hawaiian Luau featuring a live performance by David Maraks of the Beach Boys and Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean and the Surf City Allstars on June 8. The concert was followed by an outdoor screening of the Elvis Presley movie “Blue Hawaii.”

Concert-goers wore their favorite Hawaiian shirts. There was a limbo contest, a “Wipe Out” drum contest, a hula hoop challenge and an air guitar contest in which the winner received an autographed Stratocaster.

Adults played beer pong and kids enjoyed a dunking booth, a bounce house and corn pone games.
