Animal Society launches summer spay/neuter campaign

  • Tuesday, June 18, 2013

As part of its effort to reduce animal overpopulation, Charleston Animal Society offers spay and neuter surgeries to Charleston County pet owners for free or at discounted rates up to 75 percent. All pet owners are eligible for low fee spay or neuter surgeries, and North Charleston residents may qualify for free services thanks in part to PetSmart Charities.

Spaying and neutering animals is an integral component of Charleston Animal Society’s No Kill Charleston 2015 initiative, which aims to make Charleston County the first community in the Southeast to save all of it healthy and treatable animals.

For nearly a decade, Charleston Animal Society has spayed or neutered in excessive of 10,000 animals annually. Surgery appointments can be set by calling 843-556-7729 or through Charleston Animal Society’s website: http://www.charlestonanimalsociety.org.
