It might seem like everyone is turning to texting and social media for communications but email is still a relevant communications tool. Creating a professional, targeted and informative email newsletter is an effective marketing tool for your donor, volunteer and/or customer base.
Join the South Carolina Tech Academy of Coastal Community Foundation for Reach Your Audience through Email Marketing, a two-part class beginning Thursday, May 20 to learn how set up a new email marketing program or to polish your existing tools. Targeted to nonprofit boards, staff, and volunteers, the class will cover such topics as: creating a custom template to match your organization’s branding, creating content for your emails, building your distribution list and promoting your emails and sign ups via social media. In addition, participants will be able to receive a critique of your email newsletter by the instructor, as well as suggestions to help make it more effective.
The two-part class will be held June 20 and 27 from 2-5 p.m. at Coastal Community Foundation’s offices 635 Rutledge Ave, Suite 201, in Charleston. Free parking is available in CCF’s lot or on the side streets.
