This Friday, June 28 Party at the Point presents Charleston resident and “American Idol” Finalist, Elise Testone. “We’re so proud to host Charleston’s very own Elise Testone on our stage. She is not only incredibly talented but our town fell in love with her during her run on American Idol. We’re expecting a huge turn-out.” says Rob Lamble, founder of Ear for Music. Originally the season’s finale, the June 28 event will be followed by a rescheduled event on July 5 featuring Stop Light Observations with Fowler’s Mustache.
Party at the Point has been Charleston’s Premier Happy Hour Concert Series for the past twelve years. The weekly event takes place every Friday afternoon from 5:30pm until 9:30pm at the beautiful Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina on Patriots Point. The concert features drink specials including $2 draft beer while it lasts.
The last several events will also feature the Vanity Salon Style Bus; a mobile beauty salon offering on-site hair styling, make-up, body art and more. For more information or to book the “Style Bus” please go to www.VanitySalonSC.com.
Tickets for the Elise Testone Jun 28 event are available at the gate for $15. There is plenty of free parking on the street or valet parking for $5. After the event, the live music will continue at the Official After Party at the Wild Wing Café on Coleman Boulevard. Party at the Point is presented by Ear for Music, Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina and The Bridge 105.5. Sponsors for Party at the Point include: The Modern Connection, 98 Rock, Wild Wing Café, Naked Turtle Rum, Rick Hendrick BMW, Rex Goliath Wines, Carolina Hormone and Health Center and Wow! Internet, Cable, and Phone.
Party at the Point at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina has been a summer staple in Charleston since 2000. The scenic resort on Patriot’s Point is one of the most beautiful backdrops in the Charleston area. When you add a stage to the beach overlooking the water and top it with some of the best local and regional bands, as you would expect, it draws hundreds of people.
