Poop patrol

  • Sunday, June 30, 2013

Police were dispatched to a neighborhood because a man and a professional dog walker had a disagreement.

The officer first spoke with the man who said he came home from work on his lunch break and saw two dogs on his lawn. He told the officer he has a problem with people allowing their dogs to poop on his lawn. He said he tried to speak with the dog walker while the dogs were still standing in his yard and she told him the dogs did not relive themselves in his yard.

She said she was a professional dog walker and he wanted to know who the dogs belonged to.

She would not reply so he followed her and yelled at her.

But the dog walker did not walk to the dog owner’s home, rather she waited in a driveway a few houses down until police arrived.

She wanted the incident documented because she did not think it was right that he was following her and yelling at her.

The man was then advised to contact the homeowners’ association, animal control or the police should he continue to have a problem with dogs pooping in his yard. And in this instance there was no proof of such, so the case was closed.
