Style boutique Saint Sampson recently relocated from Live Oak Drive to 1340C Ben Sawyer Blvd. Owners Maria Schendzelos and Janice Mullin have expanded their offerings of affordable estate jewelry and sterling silver, art by local artists and gifts for the bride, graduate, and hostess.

The Lowcountry Manufacturers Council (LMC) has elected Tommy Pruitt as chairman of the 2013-2014 board of directors. The LMC represents Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties and is the regional council for the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance.
Pruitt heads communications and marketing for General Dynamics Land Systems – Force Protection, located in Ladson. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Limestone College and has more than 20 years of management experience in human resources and communications. He is also the current chairman of the Trident Workforce Investment Board.
In addition to the election of Pruitt as chairman, the LMC elected the following board members:

Seppy’s Hotdogs is owned by Vaughn Daniel, who lives in Mount Pleasant, but is originally from eastern North Carolina.
Vaughn was a land developer and broker for 20 years and was previously in retail and restaurant management. She is excited about sharing Seppy’s with the community and providing a quick-service concept with exceptional service and value.
Vaughn is a firm believer in supporting local vendors and has partnered with several in the greater Charleston area. Also, two Wando students, Morgan McAllister and Anna Watts, designed the children’s coloring book that will accompany the kid’s meals.
Seppy’s Hotdogs offers 16 signature hotdogs of different varieties.

After a 19-year absence, Janet Newham has decided to rekindle her real estate career with Carolina One Real Estate in the Isle of Palms office.
Newham moved to Charleston in 1994 and spent the last 15 years on the staff of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. She was Senior VP of Resource Development at the Chamber, focusing on membership and resource development as well as fundraising.
