Sol Driven Train and The Windjammer are proud to present Sol Slam on July 19-20 at the Windjammer on Isle of Palms.
Want to win tickets? We are giving away three weekend passes that include ten percent off at the bar. All you have to do is like the Moultrie News on Facebook, and post your favorite picture of yourself at a Sol Driven Train concert or one from a concert featuring the other major acts on the weekend lineup. Be sure to include a caption and your name so we can contact our winners. The winners' names and tickets will be left at Will-Call.
The third annual event will feature nine bands performing on two stages including an outdoor stage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The 2013 musical lineup includes a cast of Charleston-based talent with performances by hosts Sol Driven Train, Dangermuffin, YARN, Fowler’s Mustache, Royal Tinfoil and more.
On Saturday, July 20 Sol Slam appeals to all ages with a special day rate and a Sol Driven Train kids’ show.

Two-day passes to the event are $35 and include a 10 percent weekend discount at The Windjammer bar on the Isle of Palms, plus a mixtape album download featuring a track from each Sol Slam artist.
Friday full day passes are $15; Full day Saturday passes are $25; Saturday day passes (1 - 6 p.m.) are $5 (Ages 16 and under are free); Saturday night passes are $20 (7 p.m. - close).
A portion of all proceeds from Sol Slam will be donated to the Rainforest Action Network in memory of Becky Tarbotton, the organization’s former executive director and a close personal friend of Sol Driven Train.
