Each week, the Moultrie News and Mount Pleasant Recreation Department will feature local track and field athletes participating in the department.

Question: If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be?
Jordan Bailem: Ma, she likes to try different foods and go different places, and she is smart.
Q: What is your favorite Mount Pleasant restaurant?
JB: Ladles, my granny takes me there when it’s cold to get soup and grilled cheese.
Q: What is the best moment in your athletic career?
JB: When I got a ribbon for second place in long jump.
Q: What is the best advice you have gotten from a coach?
JB: To run in the first lane when going around the curve.
Q: What do you look forward to the most about being an adult?
JB: Being a librarian, because I like to read.
Q: What do you think are the most difficult and most fun aspects of track?
JB: Most difficult aspect is pacing myself, and most fun aspect is competing in the long jump.
Q: What is your favorite movie and TV show?
JB: “The Smurfs.”
Q: If you could have dinner with any three people who would you choose?
JB: My friend Bri, my brother Darius and my friend Harmoni.
