NY style pizzeria opens on Hungryneck Boulevard
Mount Pleasant Mayor Billy Swails and councilman Chris Nickels attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Slice Pizzeria Restaurant located at 1150 Hungryneck Boulevard, near Mount Pleasant Towne Centre.
RoseAnn Datre, the owner, welcomed themand guests to piping hot pizza pies loaded with fresh ingredients made right on the premises.
“We welcome Slice Pizzeria Restaurant to the Town of Mount Pleasant and wish them much prosperity,” said Mayor Swails. “Slice could have relocated anywhere in the region, but decided to make our town their home. We are grateful for their presence in Mount Pleasant and for bringing to us great New York style pizzas.”
Datre brings to Mount Pleasant a flair for great pizzas. She and her husband also own four other restaurants in New Jersey. “I came to visit Mount Pleasant and stayed. I fell in love with the area,” she said. “We are excited to bring to the Lowcountry our full service pizzeria and full menu Italian restaurant. Come on over and experience our authentic cuisine.”
Slice Pizzeria offers specialty pizzas, pastas, pasta al forno, seafood specialties, enticing entrees, salads, sandwiches, cold and hot subs and a wide assortment of paninis. A visit to Slice Pizzeria is not complete without a taste of their homemade tiramisu and cannolis.
