Charleston Animal Society to hold vaccination drive

WHAT: Charleston Animal Society will be offering low cost rabies vaccinations on Saturday July 20. Vaccinations will be available at the discounted rate of $10. Dogs should be on leashes and cats should be in carriers.

WHO: Charleston Animal Society

WHY: Firmly dedicated to the health of the community’s animals, Charleston Animal Society vaccinated 521 animals at its discounted rabies drives last year and 9,836 animals overall in 2012. This not only improves the overall health of the local animal population, it also makes the community as a whole safer and healthier.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Any pet owners whose pets are due for rabies vaccinations. Under South Carolina state law, all pets are required to be fully vaccinated against rabies.

WHEN: Saturday, July 20 from 8 - 10 a.m.

WHERE: Felix C. Davis Community Center, 4800 Park Circle, North Charleston
