Don’t miss a Splash Back to School Day on Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Memorial Waterfront Park. Enjoy the last days of summer before getting back to school with this exciting event presented by the Town of Mount Pleasant and Y102.5 FM. Admission, parking and all activities are free.
Residents and visitors will enjoy a host of inflatable water attractions including five slides ranging from 15-feet to 27-feet tall. A special Tiki Hut Bounce House and Slide will be setup for children aged 6 and under.
“Splash Days offer families a fun and unique way to enjoy our beautiful park and pier,” said special events planner Nicole Harvey. “Splash Back to School is one last Memorial Waterfront Park celebration before kids and parents get back to their routines.”
The Mount Pleasant Fire Department will host a spray down. Other activities include free glitter tattoos and hula hoops.
Hungry? Stop by Charleston Festival Foods to purchase shaved ice, lemonade slush or a hot dog.
Parents are not permitted to drop children off. All children must be supervised by a parent, guardian or camp counselor.
