Clarification

In a story published last week in the Moultrie News titled “Maybe dogs do have a built in GPS,” it was reported that a dog escaped from a local groomer on Bowman Road - but after five days found her own way home.

It should have been noted that the grooming company, played no role in the dog’s escape. In addition, the dog was extremely skittish and would not let employees near her. However, after the dog went missing, the grooming company owner, and her staff spent countless hours looking for her along with the dog’s owners. They are thrilled the dog made it home safe.
