A Hero for All Times: The Raoul Wallenberg Story will be presented on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Charleston Jewish Community Center, 1645 Roll Wallenberg Blvd.
The Charleston community honors Raoul Wallenberg on the 101st anniversary of his birth. Raoul Wallenberg saved nearly 100,000 Hungarian Jews during the Holocaust, yet his life and disappearance are filled with unanswered questions. Why did this Christian Swedish diplomat risk his life to save others? What was his ultimate fate?
