MLB’s Bobby Miller visits with Pro Performance Baseball Academy buddies
Major League Baseball Brandon Miller (Potomac Nationals, Washington Nationals Class A Advanced Team) visited with off-season workout buddies and members of the Pro Performance Baseball Academy / ProPBA.com of Mount Pleasant. Miller was in town playing against Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Texas Rangers).
Also attending the game was ProPBA founder Tim Gansrow who met with Miller after the game to discuss some of the upcoming fall baseball and softball classes. Miller, excited after going three for three in the game against Myrtle Beach, said, “I’m excited that ProPBA is going into our second season of training in Mount Pleasant. I enjoy working with Tim (Gansrow) at Pro Performance Baseball Academy, doing the camps with the kids, teaching baseball… and of course fine tuning my swing.”
Miller is one of the top class A home run hitters during the 2013 season with 20.
Pro Performance Baseball Academy is designed for young players for all skill levels and players interested in playing Little League, travel ball, B-Team, JV or Varsity baseball. The new fall schedule of events can be found on ProPBA.com.
The instruction centers on proper pitching and hitting techniques, visual mechanics, live batting practice and strength and conditioning training. Players will also develop rotational power to hit the long ball, gain agility for better range of motion and reduce injury by developing flexibility, stability and proper balance.
