Art Institute of Charleston welcomes Todd Cunningham as its new president

The Art Institute of Charleston, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, is proud to welcome Todd Cunningham as its president.

“I am excited to be at The Art Institute of Charleston, with its strong tradition and commitment to educational excellence and community involvement,” said Cunningham. “I look forward to working with our faculty and staff to serve our students in achieving their educational and community goals.”

Prior to joining The Art Institute of Charleston, Cunnningham served as the president at The Art Institute of Washington, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, for three years. With more than ten years of experience in higher education, Cunningham previously served as vice president and campus director of the Jersey City, N.J. campus of the University of Phoenix. During his career with University of Phoenix, he also provided leadership at campuses in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Tampa and Savannah. He has an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, both from the University of Phoenix.
