The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry (CML) has received a $20,000 grant from the PNC Foundation to provide Free Friday Family Fest at CML for the 2013-2014 school year.
The program provides Lowcountry families free admission, dinner, face painting, playtime in the museum and unique games and crafts. All families will also receive a complimentary pass for a return visit to CML and a free children’s book.
The first Free Friday Family Fest is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. Registration begins at 4:45 p.m. outside of CML’s main entrance.
Free Friday Family Fests have been very successful at CML, with more than 10,000 Lowcountry children and their families benefiting from the free playtime and dinner at CML since the program’s inception. There will be four events held throughout the school year, with dates to be announced soon.
