Cheerwine has announced they will host their Legendary Giveback II concert featuring headliners the Grammy-nominated The Avett Brothers at the North Charleston Coliseum on Nov. 14, partial proceeds of which will help the local Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliate based out of the nonprofit Carolina Youth Development Center.

Proceeds from the Legendary Giveback II’s sales will aid three family-focused organizations, including a national non-profit that provides services in the Lowcountry: Big Brothers Big Sisters, the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network; Operation Homefront, devoted to helping military service members and their families; and The Children’s Hospital of South Carolina at MUSC, which offers medical resources to children across the region.

Thirty three percent of the net proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA). BBBSA will in turn be distributing 10 percent of its funds received to BBBS of Carolina The Avett Brothers are a rootsy amalgam of folk, country, bluegrass, rock and pop—with a jab of punk-style dynamics here and there.
