The Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s Outdoor Ministry recently erected two duck boxes in Lake Wakendaw for wood duck nesting.

The Outdoor Ministry’s objective is to involve young people in outdoor pursuits. Often, the youth are underprivileged or otherwise in need.

The OM is totally organized through the church and is not associated with any government agency or other conservation organization despite some of its members’ affiliations.
