Blue Angel visits Patriots Point Foundation

At the July 2013 meeting of the Patriots Point Foundation, Lieutenant Commander and Blue Angel pilot Frank Weisser, nephew of board member Ron Plunkett and his brother Don, made a special presentation. LCDR Weisser flew with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels for three years and piloted the No. 5 solo plane in the 2010 Charleston air show. He cruised on the USS Theodore Roosevelt and the USS John C Stennis and had three combat deployments, including 35 night missions over Iraq and 36 over Afghanistan.
