They are my friends but I don’t know their names

  • Friday, September 6, 2013

An officer was heading back to Mount Pleasant after leaving the jail. On his way over the bridge he clocked a taxi cab doing 70 mph. He also noticed that the two backseat passengers kept ducking down in the back seat as if they were hiding.

The officer flipped on the blue lights and the drive turned onto the frontage road without yielding to traffic.

The officer explained the reason for the stop to the driver and asked her for her information. Everything came back clear, and she told the officer that the backseat passengers were her friends although she did not know their names.

Another officer ran the information of the back seat passengers. One man came back clear, but the other was wanted for distribution of marijuana.

While waiting to get the warrant processed, the officers watched this wanted man continuously pull down their front of this shirt like he was hiding something.

At that point the man was told he would be placed in handcuffs.

As he stood up and the front of his pants became saturated.

He did not pee in his pants, folks. The 24 ounce beer he had hidden in his draws dumped over and spilled all over him.

He was taken to jail for the pending warrant and charged with open container. The taxi driver was given a warning for speeding.
