The first event was listed as “The Icebreaker Dance.” Staff used the Mexican Hat Dance to help the students overcome nervousness at the first class. The next event is Sept. 24 and there will be more role playing and skits along with updated music.

“We are thrilled to be at the Snee Farm Country Club’s newly renovated ballroom. The staff has been extremely accommodating and we look forward to maintaining an ongoing relationship with Snee Farm.”

“Our chaperones are an important part of our program. They support the children and staff completing duties for the evening,” says Kennerty. Chaperoning for the Season I class of fourth and fifth graders were: Dr. and Mrs. Lee Royall, Dr. and Mrs. Woodrow Coker, John Fowler, and Mrs. John Mutter.
