The Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast has partnered with Water Missions International to provide the life-saving gift of safe water and sanitation in developing countries and disaster areas through the 2013 Rotary Wheels Gala. Open to the entire Charleston community, the signature event will be held on Thursday, Sept, 12 at Memminger Auditorium in Charleston from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Silent and live auctions will take place during the gala along with live music, outstanding local cuisine and a full bar.

“Together, the Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast and Water Missions International will transform lives by providing the most basic of human needs – safe water and sanitation. We are looking forward to one of the most successful Rotary Wheels Galas since the inaugural event 23 years ago,” said Molly Greene, co-founder and chairman of the board at Water Missions International. “It is so encouraging to see the Charleston community come together to help resolve the global water crisis in other communities around the world, all while enjoying a nice evening together.”

In addition, a portion of the funds raised will benefit local charities through an endowment established by the Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast. Since 2005 alone, the Charleston Breakfast Rotary Club has given in excess of $130,000 to support approximately 15 Lowcountry charities.

Individual tickets are available for $75. A limited number of VIP tables may also be reserved for $2,500. For more information and to purchase tickets for the 2013 Rotary Wheels Gala, please visit www.RotaryWheels.org.
