Raising money for charity, that’s what the Mount Pleasant Mom to Mom Sale is all about. The bi-annual consignment sale is set for Sept. 28 at the National Guard Armory in Mount Pleasant. If you have shopped the sale before you know that the deals on children’s items are awesome. This is the MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Clubs of Mount Pleasant’s biggest charity fundraiser. All proceeds go directly to charity and it is completely run by local volunteers.
The spring 2013 sale raised more than $6,000 for the selected charity. The line will start earlier, but the doors will flood open at 7 a.m. and close at 11 a.m. and then reopen from noon to 1:30 p.m. for the 50 percent off sale. Don’t forget to bring a basket or bin to carry your items home. Remember, in supporting the Mom to Mom Sale, you are also doing good for our community.
The fall sale features toys, books, fall and winter clothing, baby equipment, bedding, furniture and more from over 100 different consignors and vendors all for amazing prices.
The sale accepts credit cards, and there is a $1 admittance fee that goes directly to charity. The Mom to Mom Sale is hosted by the three Mount Pleasant MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Clubs, which is a network of new and tenured stay-at-home moms who come together to support one another through the journey of motherhood.
