The Independent Transportation Network (ITN) CharlestonTrident, located in North Charleston, is one of 250 national finalists in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program, which will award vehicles to 100 nonprofit organizations based on votes from the public beginning Oct. 1.
Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program will showcase five nonprofit organizations each day for 50 days at Facebook.com/Toyota. Visitors to the page will receive two votes each day to select two separate winning organizations they feel are most deserving of new Toyota vehicles. ITNCharlestonTrident will be one of the five organizations highlighted for voting on Sunday, Oct. 6.
ITNCharlestonTrident is the only finalist in the Lowcountry. The only other South Carolina finalist is in Bamberg.
Lowcountry residents are encouraged to support ITNCharlestonTrident in the quest for a new Toyota Prius. If ITNCharlestonTrident receives the most votes and is awarded the vehicle, the Prius will be used to provide thousands of dignified rides for seniors and visually impaired riders 24/7/365 in the Lowcountry.
