At the age of 15, Julie Koon was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease.

Unable to walk, she no longer could attend school and had to resort to home schooling. Alone at home, this once social butterfly found solace in food.

Seven years and two surgeries later Koon found herself more than 100 pounds overweight. However, she also found herself engaged to the love of her life for more than five years.

Her upcomingwedding gave her the motivation to call Medi-Weightloss (www.mediweightloss.com).

“I wanted to be that beautiful bride that looks back at her photos, 20 years later and feels happy with how she looked,” Koon said.

Koon started the program in July 2012 and by August 2013 had lost 95 pounds.

According to Koon, “the staff made the entire process so easy.

It is more difficult in the beginning of any new life change or routine, but because of their support, I breezed right through the hard stuff and now I am enjoying my new life and my new view on food and health.

Medi-Weightloss changed my life completely.

“Their system is based solely on proper nutrition and scientifically what the body needs. There are no gimmicks, no points to keep track of, no crazy formulas – just simple, easy, healthy nutrition. Thank you so much for saving me and giving me a new life. I am forever grateful.”

Since May 5, 2009 Medi-Weightloss has helped the Mount Pleasant Community lose over 31,455 pounds.
