Dirty transaction

  • Saturday, September 28, 2013

A woman got her car sparkly clean at a local car wash company, but the way in which she paid for it appeared dirty, according to the manager. He said a female customer came in and paid for an exterior car wash. He told a police officer that he noticed his workers cleaning the interior also. The manager then approached the customer and asked her why his employees were cleaning the interior of her car. She responded by saying that she asked for it and had personally paid the workers.

The manager did not like transactions taking place between customers and his employees and that customers were supposed to pay him at the register only.

He told the responding officer that he did not want this woman to return to his place of business and asked officers to tell her personally.

Officers called her and she said she did pay for an exterior clean but simply asked if they workers could wipe down the inside of her windshield. She said she tipped the worker for doing it and never paid him personally for an interior clean.

She said the manager was extremely rude to her when he approached her and yelled at her in front of his other customers.

The officer told her just to take her business elsewhere in the future and she agreed to do so.
