Ziggy’s Dog Parlor offers free grooming visit for rescue dogs

  • Monday, October 7, 2013

Ziggy’s Dog Parlor is located in the Charleston National Shopping Center.

Ziggy’s Dog Parlor is offering a free first grooming for any rescue dog who is adopted between now and Dec. 31 with discounted services thereafter. Understanding that grooming provides benefits both emotionally and physically, Ziggy’s Dog Parlor will help new rescues get clean and comfortable at no initial cost to the owners when they provide proof of a recent adoption.

Having rescued and fostered dogs for more than seven years, it was only natural that owner/groomer Kristin Fronimo would open a warm and inviting grooming facility to provide a stress free, cage free environment for all dogs in the community. In a room of his or her own, each dog is treated to a relaxing Hydrosurge massaging bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, grooming and a lot of love. Each dog also goes home sporting a one-of-a kind handmade bow, bow tie or bandanna.

Fronimo’s dedication to the rescue and rehabilitation of neglected and abused dogs inspired her to fuse her passions through her business. She and business partner Sergio Villa, a combat veteran and rescue advocate, plan to house foster dogs, hold adoption services and donate a percentage of business proceeds to area rescues.

Ziggy’s Dog Parlor, located at 3369 S. Morgan’s Point Road in the Charleston National Shopping Center, accommodates dog owners with flexibility in scheduling and a wide array of services. This facility is also proud to have a highly regarded on-site trainer who offers day and evening classes for behavioral modification.
