The BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival is looking for top-notch companies with food, beverage or food- or beverage-related products to be a part of the all-new 2014 culinary village. Approximately 6,000 guests pass through the culinary village throughout the Festival weekend, making it an incredible opportunity for companies to gain maximum exposure in just three days.
The festival is seeking participants for two main areas of the culinary village:
• The Baker Motor Company Grand Tasting Tent will house chefs, beverage professionals, restaurants and purveyors looking to showcase their company’s culinary expertise and is designed to allow guests to sample a variety of products.
This tent will maintain a similar feel to previous years, with a booth-style setup for all participants.
• The open air artisan market is reserved for specialty beverages, foods and food-related companies and purveyors looking to sample and sell retail items to festival guests. This new open-sided tent will feature farmhouse-style tables for a more relaxed feel and serve as the festival’s one-stop-shopping destination.
It will also house festival retail items, the Charleston Cooks! cookbook shop, the Le Creuset pop-up shop and more. The new Bay Street pop-up Biergarten will be adjacent to the open air artisan market and will feature a variety of local and non-local brews.
