CARTA drivers awarded for safe records

Two new bus operators were inducted into the One Million Mile Club at Veolia Transportation annual safety banquet. The bus operators were Cynthia Adams and Cindy Mitchell.

Both bus operators have achieved more than 12 years of safe driving without having an accident.

Carl Gibbs was inducted into the Two Million Miles Club for achieving over 24 years of safe driving without having an accident.

He was initially a One Million Miler and continued to practice safe driving by achieving additional years of not having an accident in which he transitioned into a Two Million Miler.

All three bus operators received a certificate and a belt buckle indicating One Million Mile Club and Two Million Miles Club with their names engraved. Additionally, a photo was taken and placed on the Wall of Fame.
