And he’s off

  • Saturday, October 26, 2013

A couple was at a private bar late one evening when, of course, the alcohol got hold of one’s better judgement.

Something was said, which made the male mad. He was ready to leave, but the female was having a good time and did not want to go home.

So, he grabbed her purse, took her car keys out of it and left the bar in her car.

She decided to show him. She called police and reported her car stolen.

She suggested to the officer that the man took her car to the parking lot down the road so he could pick up his own car. But upon investigation, he did not do this.

The police could not get the male on the phone.

They asked her what she wanted to do and after all that she decided she did not want to provide a statement or press charges or report her car stolen.

She asked the officer to call her a cab home. On the way into her street she spotted her car parked at the end of the road.

No charges were filed.
