Sewee Outpost announces that owners have completed a brand new 18 hole disc golf course on the grounds around Sewee Outpost. It is the first disc golf course east of the Cooper and will hopefully encourage the growth of this up and coming sport in our area.

The first tournament kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, followed by a barn jam at Awendaw Green, starting at 4:30 p.m., featuring Ten Toes Up and Sun Dried Vibes. All barn jams are family oriented and kid friendly. The disc golf course will be open for free play after the tournament and all day Sunday, Nov. 10. There is a $5 charge for barn jam entry to any non-players and everyone is welcome.

The tournament entry fee of $25 covers two rounds of singles play, lunch, an Innova disc, and entry into the barn jam. Register at http://www.discgolfunited.com/disc-golf-tournaments/tournament-dashboard.cfm/tourn_id/962

The Innova team came down to Awendaw over a series of visits and designed a top level course. It has a wide variety of thick wooded holes mixed in with more open holes to offer a great nature walk while playing a really fun game.

The course is private, but it offers all day play for any $5 non-fuel purchase at Sewee Outpost.
