The Mellow Mushroom Pirates defeated Billy Swails State Farm Patriots Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the Mount Pleasant Recreation mite football playoffs, 26-6. Will Harris. No. 12, quarterback and running back, was the player of the game with three rushing touchdowns, one touchdown pass, two interceptions and an two extra-point conversion kicks to seal the win. He ran for more than 225 yards behind a great blocking effort led by big Will Armitage along with Oliver Root, Ryan Hernandez, Tucker Hadigan and Christian Wilcox.

For the year Harris has amassed mor than 1,500 yards rushing to go along with 22 touchdowns in the mite division. None of that could be possible without the strong play of all his teammates including fellow runningback, Ryan Loud, fullback Brooks Maxwell and the rest of the Mellow Mushroom Pirates.
