According to William J. Hamilton, III the volunteer architects for Hungryneck Straphangers have just shown them their design concept for a new bus stop at Shelmore and Highway 17, which they hope would become an inspirational example for the community at large.

“Our goal was to develop a bus shelter which could be built by community volunteers that reflected the architecture and tradition of the Lowcountry. Many levels or engineering study and government approvals are still needed before anything is constructed,” he said.
