Runners ready for state Boys, girls cross country head to meet

The Wando High School cross country teams performed well at the region meet last month.

Marie Domin, the girls cross country coach, said the girls and the boys teams took home the prize.

All of the Top 7 from the boys and girls teams made All-Region as well.

They are preparing for the the state meet on Nov. 9.

“These are young teams that are working to learn and improve all the time,” she said. “It is a great group of young people who are dedicated, disciplined and represent the Wando Warriors very well.”
