Since the start of November, the Kickin Chicken has been hosting its second Month of Giving for the 2013 year. All five Kickin Chicken locations will donate $1 from every appetizer or flatbread sold to Camp Happy Days and the Charleston and Summerville Miracle Leagues. “Since we opened our doors in 1997, we’ve felt that we have a responsibility to support our neighbors and the Lowcountry community who supports us. Each year we host two Months of Giving, one in April and one in November, to help fund local charities that are very near and dear to our hearts,” says Chip Roberts, Partner.
Over the last two Months of Giving, the Kickin’ Chicken has raised more than $30,000. “We are very proud of our employees and sincerely thank our customers as we continue to top our numbers year after year. It’s very important to us that we help make a difference in our community,” says David Miller, Partner. The Kickin Chicken Month of Giving is in its seventh year and has donated over $120,000 to Lowcountry schools, students and non-profit organizations.
All proceeds from the November Month Of Giving will be donated to Camp Happy Days and the Charleston and Summerville Miracle Leagues. Camp Happy Days is dedicated to giving kids back what cancer took away: lots of smiles, laughter and the pure carefree joy of being a kid! The Charleston and Summerville Miracle Leagues aim to create lasting memories for children and adults with special needs through social, recreational and developmental activities.
