A 36-year-old woman, living with her 89-year-old grandfather, treated him rather poorly when he refused to loan her money.
So poorly in fact, he called police on her.
The grandfather explained to police that his granddaughter went to the doctor that morning and then came home asking for a $280 loan to buy her medication. He refused to give her the money because he did not believe she would actually spend the money on the medication like she said she was. The granddaughter became irate and started yelling and screaming at him.
He told the officer he was tired of listening to it so he called 911 to have police come over and calm her down.
She admitted to doing this and said it was only a verbal argument. Once everyone was calmed down, police left them there and explained to the girl that her grandfather would not be giving her any money.
They agreed to work things out later in the day.
