No condition to drive

  • Sunday, November 17, 2013

Police were called because a concerned citizen noticed a man trying to enter his car and drive and he appeared to be in no condition to be driving.

When police arrived they found the suspect wearing a back brace around his legs and thighs. He waddled over to the responding officers and told them that everything was okay and that he had just started taking a new anti-depressant medication.

The concerned citizen was on-hand and he told officers that this suspect is a registered nurse. He said he grew concerned when earlier, before the man tried to drive, he was found on the floor stating he wanted his mommy.

This registered nurse takes care of the concerned citizen’s sister, who is bedridden.

He said this is the first time he has ever seen the suspect like this.

He said the man had been taking care of his sister for the last six moths.

The suspect refused to ride with EMS to the hospital, but agreed to let them check him out, according to the report.

His wife arrived and took the suspect home.
